Dermaplane Facial (45 minutes) - $57 Dermaplaning is an esthetic treatment using a sterile 10r scalpel blade to slough off or “shave off” dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz). This does not make facial hair come back thicker and darker as only DNA can change hair growth. This facial leaves the skin of the face very smooth and glass like. With the top layer of skin exfoliated, home products will be more effective and makeup will go on smoother. Dermaplaning can help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and open and closed comedones, and can even skin tone. There is no “downtime” with this treatment as compared to chemical peels and other types of exfoliation.

Although it is impossible to list every potiential risk and complication, Clients who would not be good candidates for this service include: active cystic acne, active infection of any type, any raised lesions, recent chemical peels, chemotherapy or radiation (6 mo post), family history of keloid formation or hypertrophic scarring, hemophilia, hormonal therapy that produced thick pigmentation, moles, oral blood thinning medication, currently pregnant, recent use of topicals such as glycolic acids, alpha hydroxy acids (ahas), and retin-A and vitamin A derivatives, rosacea, scerloderma, skin cancer, sun burn, tattoos, telangiectasia/erythema(may be worsened), thick dark facial hair, uncontrolled diabetes, accutane use (1 year post treatment), and vascular lesions.

Following this treatment, aerobic exercise, or vigorous physical activity should be avoided until redness has subsided. Direct sunlight exposure is to be completely avoided immediately following treatment, including any strong, UV light exposure or tanning beds. SPF 30 must be applied daily to the treated area for a minimum of two weeks. Back Facial - $65 Enjoy a relaxing back facial strictly just on your back. The back is the most stubborn area to get by ourselves. We use steam to start opening the pores and lift up an impurities. Following scrub to help exfoliate then dead skin and get a deeper clean. Extraction is done if you have any acne. Lastly you will have a mask applied, followed by a moisturizer to leave your skin feeling refreshed and glowing.
